A material correction must identify the affected observation, explain what changed and why, link the supporting evidence, and preserve the earlier record. A new market quote is an update, not a correction.
6 October 2026: Elon added
Elon, a search bar that answers only from this site’s record, was added to every page. It is a clone of Spok from spaceflight.fyi, rebuilt for this record. It is named after the subject, speaks of Elon Musk only in the third person, and has no connection to him.
6 October 2026: new reading and the companies board
The home page reference moved from the Forbes estimate of $981 billion for 5 October 2026 to $1.051 trillion for 6 October 2026, read from the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list the same day. The answer to whether he is still a trillionaire changed from no to yes. The companies board was added at /companies.html.
5 October 2026: new reading and three new pages
The home page reference moved from the Forbes estimate of $933.3 billion for 30 September 2026 to $981 billion for 5 October 2026, read from the Forbes real-time profile the same day. The profile shows the figure to the nearest $1 billion, where the earlier reading came from the real-time list to the nearest $100 million. Three pages were added: /currencies.html, /in-proportion.html and /history.html.
30 September 2026: reference updated and site rebuilt
The home page reference moved from the Forbes estimate of $946.5 billion for 20 September 2026 to $933.3 billion for 30 September 2026, checked the same day. The earlier record is kept in the revision history. The site was rebuilt around that single figure, and its pages moved to flat addresses such as /sources.html.
22 September 2026: Tesla evidence added
Added dated June 2026 primary ownership evidence and distinguished exercised options, restricted shares and the forfeited interim award. The home page publisher observation was not changed at that time. Read the source analysis.
